NRCS Central Executive Ad Hoc Committee Commenced the Office
July 30, 2025
A newly formed Ad-hoc Central Executive Committee of Nepal Red Cross Society (NRCS) commenced its office on 30 July 2025. This nine-member committee was formed by the Government of Nepal, the Ministry of Women, Children, and Senior Citizens, on 25 July 2025.
The Committee’s main mandate is to amend the NRCS statutes and conduct elections for a new Central Executive Committee, within a three-month timeframe.
NRCS extends its gratitude to all stakeholders, including the Government of Nepal, MWCSC, MoHA, the Kathmandu District CDO, IFRC, and all well-wishers for their ongoing support. The newly formed Ad-hoc Committee now seeks the assistance of all stakeholders to complete its critical mandate: amending the NRCS statutes and organizing elections, which are essential steps in restoring NRCS’s historical good image and reputation.
