PM Oli Meets As Sy during his visit in Nepal

Kathmandu, 7 September

Prime Minister K P Sharma Oli meets Elhadj As Sy, Secretary General of International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) in this office yesterday. Prime Minister Oli praised the Red Cross activities to reduce the vulnerabilities of the communities and said “The Red Cross activities have supported in various activities of Nepal Government”.

Kathmandu, Sept. 3: Secretary General of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), world's largest humanitarian organization, Mr Elhadj As Sy arrived in Nepal today morning at 6:30.

Dev Ratna Dhakhwa, Secretary General of Nepal Red Cross Society and Executive Director Umesh Prasad Dhakal welcomed Sy at Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA).

This file is a learning brief about women's  participatin. It is related to Sanitation, Hygiene and Water Project  which was implemented in Bajhang District in Nepal’s remote far west. This abstract is based in a research conducted in May-June 2018 which shows that the project has left a meaningful legacy of improved participation, leadership and decision-making by women.
