The 2017 Statutory Meetings of International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) starts tomorrow in Antalya,Turkey.

The programme include the 21st session of the General Assembly (GA) of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), Movement components forum,  meeting of Council of Delegates are taking place from 6 to 11 November 2017 in Turkey.

Kuala Lumpur/Geneva, 5 September 2017 — Hundreds of thousands of flood-affected people across Bangladesh, India, Nepal and Pakistan are struggling to survive in the aftermath of the worst flooding to hit the region in decades.

International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) today issued a press release and said that a humanitarian crisis is unfolding across large areas in South Asia, with more than 16 million people affected by monsoon floods in Nepal, Bangladesh and India.
