Human Resource Management

Introduction

Human Resource Management (HRM) is one of major component of organizational development. Human Resource Management Department will be mainly responsible for training and development, policy, rules and regulation, procedures and execution process needed for administration and management, formulation of activities related to management based on integration, coordination and partnership, implementation and supervision, monitoring, evaluation and the subject mentioned below:

  • To formulate and develop process, procedure, rules and regulation and program needed for providing continuity and sustainability to human resource management.
  • To identify specialized agencies and specialists needed for human resource management.
  • To develop network, partnership and coordinated works needed for human resource management.
  • To provide strategic and technical support and advice to the administrative units in order to develop administrative and managerial sectors under human resource management.
  • To formulate strategy and program for continuity of human resource management sector.
  • To develop relationship, coordination and partnership activities with Nepal Government and other agencies concerned to institutionalize the human resource management sector.

The Human Resource Management Department will work through an integrated, partnership and coordinated ways in the following fields:

  • Human Resource related policy, subjects related to planning and managerial policy.
  • Standardization of job description and evaluation of job performance.
  • Standardization of records of human resource and professional development.
  • Formulation and development of curriculum.
  • Standardization of facilitators.
  • Identification of needs of training, development and follow-up.
  • Conduction of training.
  • Orientation on the Red Cross, activities and responsibilities.
  • Structure and development of Human Resource Development Institute.

HRMD offers its training and development programme to other stakeholders. NRCS is initiating for institutionalization of the human resource development to fulfill the need of structured and well-built human resource development centre.

NRCS has National Red Cross Training Centre at Banepa. The centre has 30 seat capacity well equipped two training halls and accommodation rooms for 60 persons with kitchen facility. As per demand of stakeholders/users and requirement, NRCS has been constructing a multi purpose building in same premises.

Near future NRCS is going establish a well functioning and self sustain Human Resource Development Institute (HRDI) in Banepa, Kavre. The scope of the HRDI will be providing services on study, research, training and documentation service to the clients.

NRCS has been motivating to the District Branches to construct the mini training centers for income generation in district. Most of the well functioning district branches have training centers at district level.

Objective

To strengthen the different possibilities of administration and management aspects in order to develop Society's human resource management and its mobilization.
